THE LIBERTY OPRY IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!

On March 10, 2006, Bruce and Brenda Boehner purchased The Liberty Opry from the Cox Family. Bruce and Brenda intend to keep providing you all with the best live family entertainment in Texas. At this time, they will continue having one show per week - Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. The Opry Band will stay the same and Jim Cox and Karla Burris are still involved with the show. The Boehner's hope to bring in a few new faces on the stage to entertain you and are striving to get the word out to everyone about the great family oriented shows here at The Liberty Opry....people just don't know what they are missing! We appreciate the warm reception we have received from all of you and appreciate your continued support!

As you know, In June of 1993, the Cox Family opened the doors of the
Liberty Opry to the public in the "Old Park Theater" in Liberty, Texas where they could play the music they love and provide a clean atmosphere for all, from the young to not so young folks.
The Liberty Opry has been going strong now for almost 13 years and will hopefully be around for many generations to enjoy!

The Liberty Opry Band brought home 16 First Place Awards from the
Country Music Organization of America competitions in Las Vegas in 1996 and they are still the best band in Texas! Come and see for yourself!
